I’ve always had a true connection with horses, since I was a little girl. Growing up in Southern California in my younger years, is where it all started. I always had fun and created good relationships with horses, really all animals. 

 

While growing up, my family moved many times throughout my childhood. Eventually I found myself further and further from horses. As time went by, school, work and other relationships took over my time and focus. 

 

In my later years, I pursued a career in the graphics and advertising industry for 25 plus years. Eventually I came to the conclusion it was time for a change. 

 

I was looking for a new start in my life, to find a way to work with animals and spend more time outdoors. Getting back to the basics that I new as a kid. This began my quest in learning about different animal modalities and services that were available at the time. After a variety of classes, training and odd jobs, I still was in search for something new.

 

I stumbled across a Horse Training and Management Program in Colorado near my home while at the Horse Expo in Denver. I realized after all this time horses were the missing link in my life. I pursued this horse certification and started my businesses as a mobile horse trainer and management professional, continuing for over 12 years.

 

Meanwhile I stayed a student of the horse. Exploring, taking new classes and modalities, gaining more education about the horse and the horse industry. 

 

I met Jim Masterson at the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo in Denver Colorado. Watching him work with a horse, I was intrigued. I signed up for his weekend workshop and shortly after that I realized this was a powerful tool to help me support the horse even more. I continued the Masterson Method training and completed my Certification in February 2019. I’m  proud to say, I am now a Masterson Method® Certified Practitioner, offering bodywork sessions to horses in Colorado.

 

Out of all the modalities that I’ve studied, the Masterson Method resonated with me the most. While working with the horse, I could feel and see the positive changes along the way, getting a unique connection while working with the horse.

 

My mission now is to help horses and their people, supporting the horse in the most positive way possible. Offering Masterson Method bodywork to horses to help relaxation, health, vitality and performance.
